Turn around -- they are closer than you think

Starter Prayer:  "God of Life and Death, help me to choose life now, help me to recognize love now, help me to see the poor in our world who long to eat the scraps from our table."  (from Wondrous Encounters by Richard Rohr)

Rohr says:  How you do anything is how you do everythng.

That statement is both indicting and empowering.

If we walk in preoccupation, we walk in darkness.  We miss everything because we think we know everything.

If we walk in availability to God's desire we walk in shimmering light.  We see expansive hunger for love because we know nothing other than God's desire that we be loving.

All we need to do is turn toward God.
