Here Comes the Son! Alleluia! Christ is Risen!

Remember the Beatles' song..."Here Comes the Sun"? or the hymn/folk song "Morning Has Broken"?  Have you ever been on the east coast at day break...the sea shore or Cadillac Mountain in Acadia National Park? Do you have a window in your home that faces east?

There is something about the sun rise....not just on Easter Sunday Morning...but everyday. I relish the days when I can see day break. I gaze at the approach of the sky's first blush. My heart and soul and mind expand, stretch and breathe in the promise of new life, new hope and new possibility. And then there is that moment when the glow becomes a peek of light...and the orb of the sun greets me, and I greet it with a smile and exhalation of aaaaaahhhhhh!

John 3:16

For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life.

The light comes into the world and illuminates the creation which is YOU... beloved child of God. Christ is the light which reveals the hidden places where you stumble and wander, leading you from darkness.

Easter is because of Jesus, but it is not just about Jesus.  It is about you, and me and us and the church!  We are new....

Live!
