Starter Prayer: "Mirror me like a magnet, good God. Don't let me be drawn into false, unhappy faces. You are always and forever the good parent, and I long to see your face." (from Wondrous Encounters by Richard Rohr)
I am captivated by Fr. Rohr's statement: "It is all a matter of staying inside "the wondrous loop." Once you know you are inside Trinitarian Love, you are connected to an infinite Source, and one is never sure who is doing the giving and who is doing the receiving. It is all flow and outpouring. It is you and yet it is God."
We use that expression all the time (in the loop). For many, being "kept in the loop" implies being included in some communication thread or some collaborative planning. It smacks of staying in control (at least at some level).
The loop of Trinitarian Love is one that we walk in when we are rooted in Christ. We create, we serve, we companion at the same time that we are created, served and companioned. Our need to know dies. And the lavish abundance of Love is poured into us and pressed out from us all at once.
