This coming Sunday is Pentecost... I'm praying and reflecting upon the potential of the wind of the Holy Spirit to enliven and empower us...the church. Take some time this week to be mindful of the aspects of your life that are yearning for fresh breath...new awareness of all that God is doing as new life is blown into and through the church.
This clip enhanced my meditation about the wind... paying particular attention to the difference between the storm on the left side of the image and the rainbow on the right.
As we gather in the presence of the Holy Spirit, do we see it as a stormy presence or as a force that moves us into the promise of the rainbow...God's covenant to be with us always?
