Join the chorus!

It is another glorious spring day on the north coast of Ohio. Not only was the full moon last night dazzling but now this morning the cloudless sky is the backdrop for the uninterrupted sunlight. Spring foliage is emerging minute by minute, with all the glowing green that approaches neon brilliance. Everywhere I look I see small and large creatures dancing about in pre (or post) mating rituals. The male plumage is at its most spectacular...and its not unusual to see numerous twittering or quacking guys courting one female.

Look around you! It is exhilerating! Nomatter what your age or gender, you practically have to consciously choose to be unaffected by the spring display of sound, light, and color!

This Sunday we will read or sing or chant Psalm 148.

Treat yourself...take some time today if at all possible to accept the invitation offered by creation to warm up the chords that can reverberate in your being. Sometimes we delude ourselves by thinking that our voice isn't meant to be part of the chorus. Not so! Somebody once reminded me that the woods will be sadly silent if only the birds who sing well were singing.

Go ahead... unleash the voice of your heart and soul. Set aside all tendency to manage or restrain the love and gratitude that glorifies God.

Join the chorus. Lift your voice in praise and thanksgiving...
