Easter Exuberance

Christ is Risen! Christ is Risen Indeed, Alleluia!

The proclamation is tweeting and twittering all over the internet...it is bursting out in small and large ways...all creatures dwelling in this part of the world on the north coast of Ohio have enjoyed a remarkably long taste of spring. We revel in the tangible reminder of the return of blossoming life,don't we?

We pull out sandals, shorts and tank tops...I have seen all sorts of shirtless runners and yardworkers...

yep...all of creation, human, feathered, furred, and leafed is singing out the proclamation of New Life!

But do you know where Christ is most visible?

In the hearts of the families of the miners who are gathering to comfort each other as they wait for news of loss upon loss of loved ones. Christ is visible, too, in the words of those demanding for clear responses to mining safety violations.

Christ is visible in the places where there is one ounce of hope in our day's glass and we say: Our glass is one ounce full!!!!!!

Our job is to run around the world with the same amount of exuberance evidenced by the winter white bodies exposing themselves to North Coast sun (even though they know that the temperatures may go into the 30's tonight!)

Go...run...tell....
