Last night's lunar eclipse was an invitation to step outside and pause.....Many of us don't know how to stand still and gaze. But every once in a while creation offers something that compels us to do just that. I would imagine that a tremendous number of human eyes and minds were focused upwards last night...and I know of many hearts that accepted the sight as an opportunity to be in prayer.
And now this morning as I sit and write, I look to my right, and the moon is settling into the horizon...clear white in blue/black velvet. I look to my left and I see the rose kissed sky that reflects the approach of the sun. It is a cloudless morning...a rare North Coast winter sight. What prayer can the heart offer?
Aaaaaaaaahhhhhhh. Thank you. It is as simple as that!
