We continue to read about Jesus' healing and purifying action. As he calls us and sets us on the path of service, he meets us at our weakest, most paralyzed place. Taking us by the hand, he ministers to us in whatever way is necessary for us to follow him as newly created, whole people.
As I pray with these scriptures, I experience the energy...the dynamism...the enveloping power of Jesus' actions. Through the presence of the Holy Spirit he continues to wander about, proclaiming the message and casting out demons. In the presence of the Living Word, voices of darkness that tempt to distract me from Jesus' call are silenced.
Listen! Incline your ear....the message continues to be proclaimed to you. How do you respond?
