How can I possibly express the gratitude erupting from the heart? Because of God's Gift to us, our hearts no longer beat in isolation. The love unleashed in Christ enables each human heart to connect with all others... and as that connection is noticed, the human eye and ear is focused upon and attuned to the Divine Heart beating within and throughout creation.
I pray that you seek and find ways to resist the predictable onslaught of forces that will try to whisper words of denial to you: "Well, Christmas Day was nice..... but it is over now, and it is time to get back to the real world". No! Trust that in ways large and small the miracle of Christ has spread new roots in the soil of life -- new hope...new life...new joy...new peace. Embrace it!
With the awe and loving reverance modeled by the shepherds and the wise men you can recognize the Light emitting from Christ born!
