Easter

The Seeds of Eternity are Sown in Our Lives

Every once in a while our awareness is drawn (like a magnet draws steel shavings) to something eternal.  This happens in those moments when we notice, even if only for a fleeting moment, something remarkable and extraordinay.  We hear a tone of voice, or see a glint in the eye, or experience a shared breath of recognition that here, right now, God has broken iinto our life.

As we follow Christ even the most mundance acts become seeds that will germinate and fluourish to become part of God's Harvest.  Just as a beautiful fireworks display begins fully contained in canisters (until they are ignited) our role in eternity remains contained in our mortality until God unleashes the victory of the resurrection.

It is not up us to decided which particilar moment will be most brilliant in eternity -- we are invited to accept the wonderful knowledge that nothing we live in our bodies is lived in vain.

Alleluia!!!!!  Christ is Risen!
