Saturday, Second Week of Advent
Philippians 4:4-7
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will
say, Rejoice.
Let your gentleness be known to everyone. The Lord is near.
Do not worry about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Reflection: Have you ever been asked to describe your
pain to a doctor or nurse? You know how
it goes: “On a scale of 1-10 how is your
pain, 1 being the lowest”
So on this
Saturday in the middle of Advent, what can you report about your worry
level? When you are out about,
particularly in the shopping areas, is your gentleness known to everyone? How about in parking lots? Or in waiting lines?
