When scarcity thinking prevails we begin to stumble along...or rush about in a frenzy.

Today we face continued uncertainty.  Economically our situation is still tentative.  Politically we may face vibrations of change.... yet it remains to be seen where we will land in terms of getting it "right" as we work for the good for all.

There is a tendency that has appeared for thousands of years.... We see it in the lesson from Micah 4.  When we begin to wonder about who is leading us through trials toward safe passage we get stuck.  And when we are stuck, as the pressure increases, we may begin to whine and worry.   We may work to place blame on either the cause of our ills or upon the failed promise of a previous "hope for solution".

I hear the prophet say that standing still and groaning can only go so far....   Eventually you need to get up and present yourself in an alert, confident, and activated fashion.  Then the Lord will whisk you up into His arms and set your feet on solid ground.

What might you do to express your trust that the Lord leads you as you pass through all sorts of trials?  How might you behave differently, even in the face of a challenge, if you stay confident that God is at your side ... that the Lord is your salvation?
