Aging

I have been reflecting upon aging...
upon the way that everything living is moving moment by moment from newness...to maturity




to old age




and finally to death.

I dwell in gratitude for life...and the way each day the Lord bestows something new, fresh, and nourishing... I know that I sometimes "miss" the bounty before me, because I have decided for my SELF what would make this day, or this moment complete. Forgive me, dear one, for missing what You know I REALLY need to receive.

And I am reminded, especially today, of the ultimate joy given so freely to me...one of God's claimed children.... aaahhh...eternity!
