The promise is fulfilled. Peace, hope, joy and love are present IN TOTALITY. This totality has been gradually approaching throughout Advent. Linger in awe.
Perhaps if we remain still just a while longer we can "hear" the words spoken by God at the moment of Christ's birth. All at once in one place, and yet in every place, with one baby taking his first breath of air, human history is changed FOREVER! The time is NOW. Here is all the peace, love, hope and joy that God intends for His people.
This birth is the breaking in of God -- intersecting history in a tangible, audible, visible way. Be not afraid.... Be in awe!
