"I stand at the door and knock," says the Lord.
What a wonderful privilege
that the Lord of all creation desires to come to me.
I welcome God's presence.
Thus begins today's reading on Sacred Space (link to the left). How can I wrap my mind around the reality that Jesus approaches me?
I can't.
Sometimes I try to reason the how or why. I attempt to think through what occurs when the threshold is crossed. I yearn to focus upon His presence to the exclusion of all else, but my mind begins to scurry around and (oh so ineptly) manage what is going on.
Today I say to my mind, "Be Still". There is only one thing you need to know, mind of Pamela.... Be Still, and know that I am God. (Psalm 46:10)
Be still and know that I am God....
Be still and know that I am....
Be still and know....
Be Still.....
Be.......
Be....
Be Still.....
Be Still and know that I am.....
Be Still and know that I am God....
Amen..... That is enough....mind of Pamela.
